WORK EXPERIENCE
From corporate America working @ ADP, PTC and Motorola to a complete departure joining startups in high tech aviation with Sentient Jet & DayJet, to transitioning to work alongside her husband to create new companies within hospitality and bio-diesel, and then back to the grind with Oracle when blindsided by a series of personal events; my experience is vast, ranging the spectrum in size, product, and function. Have held many senior executive titles but most comfortable developing business opportunities as an individual contributor and working within a strategically focused team, as managing quotas and spreadsheets, sifting through data is not my thing, nor is navigating egos and personalities. However, I am big on collaboration and communication , mentoring and coaching, and above all succeeding together, as a cohesive team.

Friends call me a gypsie and it may have to do with my bouncing around from an early age. Born in the Bronx, lived in Barcelona while father completed medical school and summered there visiting my grandparents through adulthood. Moved to Ft. Lauderdale with my mother after parents divorced and now call this home. All I have ever known is hard work, seeing my parents and grandparents pave the way for a better life, starting with nothing and making something of themselves. This entrepreneurial spirit is what has inspired me to take the leap into self-employment. That and being exposed to the some of the smartest people and greatest companies around the globe. I have had the pleasure of working for and alongside extraordinary individuals, creating innovative solutions and have learned to position, market and service them. Now I want to take the last 25 years of knowledge and experience, and make the next chapter in my career about supporting companies and products I am truly passionate about, while balancing my work life to spend more time with my family - specifically my son who is growing up way to fast!

When I'm not at "work", I really love to scroll through realtor.com and see what is available nearby or across state lines, even internationally. My friends call real estate my "side hustle" as I have been dabbling in it since I was 24 yrs old and love taking tear downs, or distressed properties and creating amazing spaces with them, that are then transformed to create memories. Now when I have any free time, I find myself looking through magazines for design and decorating ideas, noticing that branding has become key in our society today - from retail brands to materials, to furnishings - branding is about name recognition, quality, company values and there is an affinity to stay in the comfort zone. For this reason, we plan to take Butterfly-Blvd and our Butterfly Bungalows, to become the first best in class branded on demand accommodation providers.
In addition, I will be partnering and launching companies that fuel other passionate areas like shoes, bags, health and wellness, and financing !

My family and friends, Luke my almost 10 year old and my favorite shoe eating do, Winston, our rescue dog, YOGA, and dancing to my favorite top 40 songs. I love rainy days because its the only time I will slow down enough to relax and watch a movie/tv. Traveling internationally has always been a huge passion of mine and in particular going to 3rd world and under-developed countries where the differences are so vast. Since working at the age of 13 years old with my best friend at her fathers restaurant, all I have ever really focused on is making money and getting ahead to ensure I could support myself and those around me. With a Latin background, its very common to care for our parents and grandparents and quite frankly lend a helping hand to anyone that needs it which is why there are so many immigrants in this country today -- working 24/7 to send money back home to provide a better life. While I have always been extremely fortunate, I have seen both my parents and extended family members struggle and experienced first hand the crash of 2008. Therefore, I will need to find more hobbies but not until everyone is happy, healthy, and provided for financially.
